These are a definitely a "HOT" item. I believe I'm the only one who has a fresh set in the box and have actually been offered 300.00 dollars for them. Its amazing what supply and demand does ! Do I hear 325.00? LOL :D

I have a chrome set on mine right now, and ordered a set of CF ones from N1. IF the CF set does ever make it to me, mine are set to go to Panther_Black_VX (Chet) as he called first dibs. If he does not want them, I will sell them to the next bidder!

Those chrome covers really dress up the truck. I love the look of more chrome on my Ebony VX. Lots of Flash....

Okay, this is long in coming to the site but way back in May, Deby (BumbleV-X) made covers to protect my Chrome mirror covers when I went to Moab.

They offered complete protection from brush and look really good on. Here is a pic.

They are black vinyl with the VehiCross logo. Fitted around the mirror with elastic, they secure with a velcrow strap. ( I'll post a pic of the mirror side tonight). They kinda remind me of dress gloves. ;Dr; Perfect to protect CF or Chrome covers, or just a different look to the stock mirrors.

She will make them for us so send her an email. Cost $40

Hey if someone wants to grab them for 400 bucks who am I to stop them??? hehehee...I had wanted to keep them as a back up incase anything happened to the originals. Advice to people: When something a rare as the mirror covers come along always buy in 2's. They are very rare. I believe mine are the only ones out there still in the box. About Albert , boy when we had him he was goooood !!! I wish he was able to send us a message so we could wish him well. Things were really movin along with mods until he got sick...

I'm not tryin to rag on your ride, so please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm wondering why you think everyone is going to shat themselves when they see that you have put every single mod on your VX that has been going around these forums for 4 years? i know during this for 4 years know i like doing things much different than others and i see people that have vx'es and tell kind of do the same thing that others do with there vx, you see i like taking things aparts and try to find ways to put thing back together in a much different way than others and i dont want people to hate me cuz how i act around you guys and girls in the vehicross.info club. and i will be ready the next jersey shore meet.

You guys know that some late model Trooper Models had chrome mirrors, and that they'll fit the VX? I always look out for them on eBay... I think Sgt Batguano bought one a while back...

Went to the local dealer & looked at a 2002 Trooper - the mirrors are very different; however, the Rodeo mirror head looked the same. A search on eBay turned up nothing for chrome mirror covers for the Rodeo. I' ve seen a couple of posts about the Trooper mirrors working - but I'll tell you, they are VERY different. Maybe the heads will fit on our bases, I don't know - but in the looks department they are night and day. Anybody have more info??

I looked at chrome mirrors from a Trooper Limited. I think it was a 98 or thereabouts (not sure). They looked slightly larger but had the same basic shape and base. These are the automatic-folding mirrors (like what the JDM VX had). Still worth a look, especially now that the covers are about gone...

The Rodeo mirrors are basically the same (if they do have differences, it isn't apparent).

Cheers to Redline for being a considerate,selfless member of this board and a person who's not made an attempt to price gouge of what is essentially a mod that costs < ~$100 w/ shipping.

I was one of the few, lucky one's to get a set of the Carbon Fiber covers from N1. If someone knows of a place that wants to use mine as a model, to fab more carbon fiber covers, I'd be willing to remove mine. My only request would be, that before mine are returned, that the double-sided tape has to be removed and replaced so I can re-attach mine again.

Maybe you could use the same process for your mirrors as Amack76 did for his dash
