Last minute decision

It is in Bedford, KY across the river from Madison, IN.
I and a few Jeeps will be leaving from the Indiana side West of Madison.

I will check this thread today to see if any interest was gained. Figured it was better to post than not, I know there a few around this area.

this is crazy! I am going to pick my VX up in Georgia on Friday and staying that night with a friend of mine in Bedford. Too bad you weren't going down next weekend :-(

What way will you be traveling home from there? I live just across the river from Louisville, KY.

If the weather is good we may go back next weekend.


+++ Blew my alternator. I have been through water MANY times. Dash went crazy, battery light was on and it finally died about 3/4 of the way home.

As if we didn't already know, the VX kept up and did better than two of the Jeeps at times (both on 33's, one with Treadwrights, the other with Mud K2's). The other Jeep in in another league.

I will be taking 421 to 56 to 256 to 65 going North on Saturday morning. I am hoping to make it to Madison, WI on Saturday - maybe Eau Claire, WI if I'm feeling good and the VX is cooperating!

I did the opposite direction. Fly to Chicago, then drove a rental into WI.

Well if it doesn't cooperate, I am not far from 65

FORGOT to mention the battle damage.

Not terrible but it is something. Not sure if you should hammer it out or bondo over it.

Smaller than a 12oz coke can on the metal part of the rear door, left of the half moon.
