Recently my A/C's condenser fan stopped. I need to replace it but can't find the replacement. I've checked on a few after market part site and amazon. Found plenty of replacements for Troopers, Rodeo's & Axiom, but nada for Vehicross.
Any suggestions???? Thanks in advance! :bwgy:

So you didn't need an A/C condenser fan, just the blower motor, which is completely different than the condenser fan? OK. I thought when you said A/C condenser fan twice, that's what you needed. :_confused

I do need the condenser fan, sorry, LittleBeast showed me the light before and made a blind purchase. I just recieved the blower fan today and realized, this is not the correct part, so I'm reposting to see if I can find the correct part.

So I recently posted looking for a replacement condenser fan motor for my A/C. I accidentally purchased a replacement motor blower and need to reorder a replacement condenser fan motor. Just to be on the safe side, what I am looking for is a replacment for the circular fan mounted behind the front grill.
The frame and mounts all seem to be in good condition, so I think the motor is the only thing that needs to be swapped out.
I started to remove the fan housing today and I am hoping I don't really have to remove the front bumper to remove the fan, do I? :madb:
Any suggestion and part referrals are mucho arppc. :yeso:

Are you sure it is the fan that is bad and not just a relay? With a/c on high are you getting power at the fan?

Well, I took it to a machanic who checked it out and told me I needed a new condenser fan motor. He told me he would try to find a replacement and then never called me back (Good-ole Miami). So I started to look up the part to swap it out myself, all I need is the part, which I can't find.
My A/C works fine, it blow strong and cool, but with in 10 - 15 mins it starts to run warm. The mechanic told me my condeser fan motor has gone and with out the heat being drawn away from the radiator that it was causing the air to run warm and would blow my fan clutch too. I dont believe my clutch is bad yet as the A/C works fine until it gets warm. He went to the fuse box and tested the relay and showed me the fan was not responding and needed to be swapped out.
Just looking for the part to swap.
I'll check JC Whitney out not, I can't believe it's soo hard to find after market parts for this vehicle, you would think Trooper or Rodeo would be a suitable swap. :(
Thanks for all the help so far, keep it coming till I can track down the part! :))

I would just hang on to the blower motor. If you have your VX for a long time, you'll probably need it or you could sell it to another member.
Take some measurements and then check JC Whitney or others for a generic A/C condenser fan assembly. It looks like you should be able to get at the fan without too much trouble with just the grille removed.

Here's how it works-

If you have no power to the fan, start at the A/C triple pressure switch-

Then move to the condenser fan relay-

Hey Mark-
Thanks for all the help it looks super informative. I'm gng to take this out to my drive way and see if I can't troubleshoot based off your notes and get my A/C working again.
However, I think the front bumper needs to be taken off. I removed the grill and removed the top two screws from the mount on the fan. The bottom two screws in the lower mounting were not too accessible. I could barely make contact by sticking the tool through an opening on the bumper but the opening didn't provide enough room to turn the tool and loosen the screws.
If I have to remove the front bumper, any suggestions?
Thanks, again for all the help. ;)

I think I found the part, FINALLY, I've checked all over and the only place I can find it is at Isuzupartcenter.com, they want over $200 just for the motor, YIKES! I am trying to find the part number to look for after market. Any suggestions?
This is what I have found in case any of you are looking.

Have the motor rebuilt/rewound by an electronics shop?
