A guy not far from me owns one of the originals. He used it to draw crowds to his car wash (http://1966batvehicles.yuku.com/topic/1064#.T1UNhYfPHL8), pretty effectively I might add. He also rented it to parade and other event organizers. Not sure it paid for itself, but it was pretty cool to check out.
