Looks like Ford announced a new slogan earlier this year...

"Go Further"

Ugh not an association I want! Especially with my "GOFRTHR" license plate

Mebbe..."plagiarize more"...:rolleyesg

Though I actually liked their TV ads back in the day, featuring Bob Glidden (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDMQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FBob_Gli dden&ei=2z2OT6YZkI7zBPum_ZYO&usg=AFQjCNEqgcKaTdxfI_X0lgIpI0pXlYA_ag&sig2=0Zd1muqZ6ACqzDZC3q5IyA)

I always felt they should have referred to him as one of the people who have "driven a Ford quickly"

Then of course there is the Merry Prankster's famous bus Further (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Further_%28bus%29)

Go Further? Perhaps that insinuates they are now copying all the German engineering possible? In which case, shouldn't it be "Der Führer". :bgwo:

I think Isuzu's slogan was "Go farther"?? Not, " Go further". Yes?

Yes isuzu said go farther. But its my experience your average person doesn't even recognize a difference between the two.

My big gripe is I just ordered custom plates that say "GOFRTHR" from the old isuzu literature. however now it could mean either

Oh well I know what it means and still love the plates and the go farther motto
