Doing my first mod today :)

Adding the lighted window washer sprayers on the hood with a switch inside for the lights (not legal here)


yeah i know, its a small mod, but its my first with my first VX. and after the down payment, its all i can afford :D

i got it done. had to go back and get a new set, theyre plastic, and i overtightened, then "SNAP"

oh well, installed, switch works, only prob i had was i thought the cig lighter was a constant hot, its not, so have to turn key to get power to them.

I know you all were wondering how it went, such a big job and what not

:thumbup: A mod is a mod no matter how small it may be. So what color did you choose? I think that is always the 1st mod we have all done. post some pics when you get the chance.

Went with blue lights, chrome housing.

Apparently there are some new housing styles out there, chinese dragon head and a skull i saw for sure, but went with the plain box looking ones, and they kick.

Figure, once i get the fang extenders, the light will shine down and enhance them. cant wait

I got the green with chrome housing...had them tied into the park-n lights. They were cool for a couple weeks then got pulled over and had to snip the wire;-( I think that was the only reason he could find to pull me over just to check out my VX;-)

well i guess i could take it back. put 'em on if you like 'cause i have no say in it. it's yoru ride...if you think it'll look good when you get the fang extenders then keep use them. it's all about how you want yours to look, dont worry about what others say. my bad. juuuuust dont get the nightrider lights that flash back and forth! hahaha

nah, i think i have a plan, might just be ear wax, but somethings going on up there. any major mods, especially this one, will be a while comming. need some cash flow incomming first

nice, sorta, gonna run my air scoops in the same fashion as the fangs, but gonna use a fiber from the top to the bottom, so the whole fang/scoop lights up.

again, cashflow limited atm. already got/can get the fiber, just fabricating the scoop is where im stuck

I'm not a big fan of the light up washer nozzles. To each his own though.

If you want to do something a little more extreme with the fang-extender kind of thing you might try repurposing some of these motorcycle lights, like:

I suggest checking your state laws on those. Especially if they are blue. I know here in MD, those washer things are illegal, and they enforce it heavily.
