I repainted again, this time I went with flat on the cladding and small bits and then Satin on the body. Here's a crappy pic.

What did you use to paint the rims? Overall what I wanted to get done... Was also thinking:

Next time park your artistic VX next to something other than a tastless strip mall. It will help better showcase your ideas. Yes?

Haha I was parking in the "hybrid parking only" spot at fresh and easy. I thought it was funny.
I used rustolium thinned 15% and shot with my cheap paint gun. I turned the air up a little to get a bit of texture. It actually looks like leather on the surface, but it would be easy to do smooth too.

I originally did the rims in spray on truck bed liner and this time I just shot a touch up coat of flat black on them.

I did do it in tan once
