Today was the first day for Ryan in the Olympic trials decathlon...
With one event left on day 1 he is sitting in 7th. He needs to move up to the top 3 to make the team. Send him some good vibes!

Getting excited! With 7 event down Ryan is in 3rd place (top 3 go to the Olympics)!!!! The 8th event is under way and he is doing good!

Dropped to 4th after the pole vault. 40 points out of third with the javelin and 1500 left. Ryans a strong thrower and should do well in the javelin then hopefully he will be able to pull off the 1500 of his life!

NBC will be airing an hour of todays T&F events at 7pm (Az time). I am sure there will be coverage.

Aaahrg! Ryan didn't do it. The 1500 dropped him to 6th :(

He's earned an Ebony VX medal regardless.

(All you other colors can fight it out amongst yourselves as far as what ranks 2nd, 3rd, etc) :p
