Just hoping someone may be able to help me identify this rear axle/hub assembly. Someone threw it in with a purchase of some SPIN tri-spoke mtb wheels I bought a few years ago, saying that it was an NOS SPIN axle/hub, and I'd just like to verify that's what it actually is.

I've been searching the net for similar pics, but haven't come up with a match yet, so I've not been able to verify it myself. Any additional info would be appreciated.

It appears to be a typical sealed bearing assembly. If the width is the same it should work. You can always pull the old one and compare it.

I appreciate the input. I suppose pulling the one currently installed would also give me a chance to mount the tire correctly (yeah, I ended up putting it on backwards last time) and get the directional tread actually running in the right direction for a change, but since I've not noticed it making THAT much of a difference yet, I've said screw it and left it as is.

Ah well, I've got a few other feelers out there so maybe someone who's run these wheels before will chime in in the meantime.
