That Krylon paint is amazng i use on on my car last bout 2-3 years with no signs of wear.
I also drive 4-5k Miles a Month. If that says anything about its durability.

Comes in a "rattle can" and you can get it at Wal-Mart if it's the same as I've used for other items that are "plastic" in nature.

Works well for what I have used it for, but never thought about using it on my cladding...

Are you saying you've coated your cladding with it? Was it applied when you took all the photos in your gallery?

I've been using Flashblack meant for tires but it blackened the cladding and trim nicely. Takes 2 applications to work well. First covers most areas then the second fixes any misses or weakly covered areas. Lasts for about 3 months. I bought it a big lots pretty cheap.

I'm curious to get peoples opinion, who prefers having shiny black cladding vs satin/matte black cladding? And do different products yield different finishes?

I think SN is a terrible product that works wells. It makes a huge mess, leaves streaks, needs multiple coats, requires dilution, gasoline will wash it away and in general is a big PITA to apply. That being said... the work is worth it because the result are (as ALC1717 wrote) the best and last a very long time. It's also very easy to touch up after you spill gas on the cladding or scrap the bumper. My first application was 6 month ago and the SN is holding up nicely.

Showroom New will give you a satin finish, Back to Black is all shine, not sure about wipe new... maybe shiny?
