If you ever make it to the Denver area, this would be a very worthwhile side trip. I have been contributing to this organization for several years. They take big carnivores that been abused, abandended or confiscated and let them live out their lives in a natural setting (at least as natural as Colorado can be to them) http://www.wildanimalsanctuary.org/

oh, I almost missed this thread! Sounds great, never knew about this one! I've been to a big kat sanctuary outside Dallas/Ft. Worth, same story, abused, unwanted, crazy people thinking they can raise a lion or tiger :rollo:...was awesome! In our travels I'd love to make it there one day.
