Why would anyone go through the expense to get and customize a truely great offroad truck and then put street treads on it? :(

If you lighten up the shadows Billy...

...you'll see some pretty aggressive tread on it...NOT uber off road..but not normal street.
Side walls are a bit winpy too !

I was merely wondering why someone would even need such an obvious off-road vehicle just for streets.

My bet is that it will see zero offroad use which in MY mind equals a big waste of money. Like rappers driving Hummers on 24's and rubberbands!

That's an awesome, overpriced Unimog!!!!

Unimogs & Pinzgauers are very popular in Colorado for wheeling. I'd personally go for the Pinzgauer because it's sized for the trails. Then again... with a top speed of 65 mph I wouldn't actually want one.

These are all for sale in Colorado from a "cold war" dealership. Where do you go to buy a tank?

Halfinger. I saw one of these on the trails with PBkid yesterday. It was about 2/3rd the size of the VX.
