VX-O2 meetup dates??? Petersen Museum in LA - October anyone?

Ok, the Petersen is asking if it would be too difficult to have a meetup here at the LA Museum to see the VX-O2 on Friday October 26th. They have more staff M-F and might be able to accomodate us easier. If not, the other dates currently being looked at is Saturday 10/27 or Sunday 10/28.

I need to know what our preferred dates are. Please let me know if you can make it on any of these dates. Still trying to find out if they will waive the $2500. Also, need to know who it was that was willing to 3D scan the VX-O2.

I have an opportunity to visit Ft. Irwin on the 30th so if you can do it on Sunday the 28th that would be perfect for me.

Doesn't seem like there's much interest. Petersen just got back and verified that those dates are not available as they are already booked for another private party to see the vault. Not sure why it's so hard. They are now looking at a different date. Maybe 9/30, 10/6, 11/3, or 11/4. Will keep you informed.

I was just at the Petersen Museum on Wilshire in CA today and even got into a "Vault" tour. Sadly, no VX-02 or any Isuzu to be seen or even heard of....I asked this tall older almost bald tour guide guy who seemed to know a lot about the cars there and he said he didn't know what I was talking about. :upsetgray
