Nissan Titan 17" rims fit VX?

Trying to figure out if some Nissan Titan 17" rims will fit the VX? I've been reading through threads. I saw one about Nissan Armada rims but with no conclusion, I will continue to research.

Here are the specs I found for the rims:

Bolt Pattern: 6x5.5"
Offset: +30mm
Size: 17x7.5
OEM Part Number: 403007S310
Part Number: 62435

You'll have to contact the seller & have them measure the diameter of the center bore.

for our VX, "the oem wheel is a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern, 38 mm positive offset with 108 mm center bore"

Rumor has it that 100mm center bore will fit but several members have had to have brand new rims machined for clearance before they could be mounted.

Mainly for the larger tire size (285/70/17). Which is my other question, could I fit this size on my VX with some trimming (no lift)?

why not get 16" vx wheels?

I have 16" stock vx wheels. Stock tire size 245/70/16, isn't the largest I can go 265/70/16?

Looks like the center bore of a Nissan Titan is 77.8mm. According to this thread: http://www.vehicross.info/forums/showthread.php?t=19383 our center bore is actually 100mm not 108mm. So I would have to get the Titan rims machined to 100mm...

i get it you want wider - the best mudding vehicle i ever say was a stock 1940's army jeep w/ knubby pizza cutter tires - he ended up pulling everyone else with those giant balloon tires and suped up motors out of the mud after they got stuck

It depends on the slop.

Skinny tires are great for cutting through the slop down to a more firm surface to bite on ... if there is firm stuff underneath the layer of slop.

If the layer of slop is deeper than the ground clearance of the vehicle, then you're better off with the floatation of the bigger/wider tires.

Either way - you still need the wide lug spacing of mud tires in order for the tires to eject the buildup of mud.

And if it's gumbo mud, you need some major wheel-speed to fling the mud out of the treads, and all over your friends...

Nissan, Toyota truck wheels will fit. From what I know, their bores are larger than the Chevy lug pattern like ours.

17 Rim - good choice. There are a lot of 17 tires out right now.

Im sorry cheetah, but I dont understand your logic? You want to fit bigger tires on your vx without a lift, thats fine, but changing the rim size isnt gonna provide a bigger fender well to put big tires in? In fact it will make the tire smaller and the rim bigger?

I believe you are correct that 265 is the biggest that will fit without a lift, but the outside diameter will be the same on a 16 or 17" rim, plus you have to buy new wheels?

Did I step in poop (again)?? I just bought wheels with a 108 mm center bore. I noticed that they don't fit the center hub, can the wheel studs be used for centering and load bearing??

Whew! I called Procomp and they assured me it was alright to use the wheel studs for centering. Off the hook again.
