what transfer case and trans do i get

I would like to find out what vehicle i can take the transfer case and transmission from for the VX? With the grinding i have a need to see about just changing them out and is there any advice of what to do other then just changing them out? Like gearing or upgrades of any kind.

Joe, what tcase did you put in?

I can't speak for Joe, but I went with a 92-97 trooper t case. If he kept the stock tranny it is likely he did the same thing.
