I need to know which way to turn ratchet for plug removal (if I'm facing the t-case am I turning counter clockwise to loosen or clockwise) . I don't want to strip the plug so any help would be great.

Thank you all. Last owner really torqued down on the plugs and I just wanted to make sure I didn't strip them....PS Last owner never changed rear diff fluid, I flushed it and it looked like mud....mud I tell you!

it possibly got water in it from crossing water. Water can enter through the axle seals and fill the pumpkin. Flush it good with brake cleaner before refilling.
