I hear removing the half moon piece can be a real beotch....
I see the two bolts, but not sure what the "clips" are that Tone referred to in thread below.

Do you use a flat spatula type thing to get under the double stick tape on the perimeter?

Found this thread on it, but not specific enough....

Can somebody give me real specific directions....please. :thanx:

Really it's not too bad, you just need something flat to pry the half moon up. I used a flat head screw driver and started at the bottom, then worked my way toward an edge were I could peel the entire halfmoon off. I don't remember any clips, just the screws and tape.

The hardest part is prying the half moon without scratching paint.

Sorry i'm not more helpful, it's been a while since I had a half moon to remove.

Sue, if it is just tape then I would use some kind of stout plastic putty knife to do the prying so you don't scratch the paint.

Couple notes. There are two 'bolts' and 2 clips, needle nose pliers work great for the clips. If you are ever prying against body paint, make sure to use a plastic prybar (you can get them everywhere), and wrap it once in a rag.
