VX A/C Compressor issue need help!!

I just replaced the ac compressor in my VX it worked great for about a week. Now I am not getting power the the compressor so no ac. I have checked the A/C relay in the fuse box under hood and it's good any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would be willing to bet that your A/C system is out of freon. When the freon pressure drops, the compressor will not turn on. I had the same problem after a new compressor was installed. Worked for a week or so and then died. It was a small leak at a fitting, had it repaired and refilled---works just fine.

did you put it on yourself? the system has to be checked for leaks then charged - there is also a drier and orefice tube they suggest be changed anytime you open the system

Yes I changed that all myself and evacuated the system. Charged found a leak replaced new o-ring re did it all again and no leak. now a leak somewhere. I bought a new compressor from discount compressor looked exactly the same as oem.
