So today I went to the store and saw a Fast Brite - Headlight Restorer (As Seen on TV). I'm always skeptical about these "seen on TV products", so I asked the cashier that if it did not work I would take it back for a refund. She said OK.

To my surprise, I applied the product to the very cloudy, oxidized VX headlights...and voila!!! They look great!!!!

I purchased the product for $9.99. It's worth it.

No sanding, no abrasion, no nothing?

I had my headlamps' lenses professionally polished back in April or so of last year - they came out looking almost new. But they've already started yellowing again. Trick is to seal 'em up nice once they're polished so they don't turn again. (Which, you know, I didn't do...)

So regarding the Fast Brite - I have doubts it'll last for more than a week or so but would be happy if it does.

Staying tuned,
-V

Below are a couple of pics. I did not take pics of the "before", but they were yellowish and cloudy.

No buffing, no sanding...just the product itself.

I will post new pics in a couple of weeks to see if the condition of the headlights hold up...

Yes, it is not perfect, but for $10 the product does a decent job.

Even if you have to apply it every couple weeks, its still not a bad solution.

Consider it like wax. That's not permanent.
