Changed out my leaking rear axle seal today. Not a bad job to do. Remove wheel, remove brake caliber, remove rotor, remove the 4 nuts that secure the back plate, remove abs sensor (2 screws), disconnect ebrake cable, slide out axle shaft. Borrowed a slide hammer and bearing removal attachment from orielleys. Took a few taps and it was out. Used a 2x3 piece of wood and a hammer to tap the new seal in. Put it all back together. Hardest part...reattaching the ebrake cable and putting those damn springs back in place! :) Total time about 2-3 hours per side.

Mind if I asked where you sourced the seals?? I don't seem to be able to get them...

I got oem seals from Merlin at St Charles Isuzu. His contact info can be found here on the site. They are $8 each.

The part number for the seal is 8-94178277-0.You may be able to cross reference it with other Isuzu/Holden vehicles. In the U.S. several use the same 12bolt rear axle and should share the same seal.
