Great meet! Wish we could get that kind of enthusiasm here in the US more than once a year. Moab is cool but a lot of people can’t make that drive - we need some kind of central meet that the most people can make.

Wouldn't be such an issue if we lived in a smaller country....
Then again.. having all this land gives us more room to play...

Looks like a fun party!
Personal tastes certainly vary... I prefer the smaller wing that we have...
Someone once told me he that he heard in Japan you are only allowed to keep a vehicle for like 3 or 4 years ;wtf; then it gets stripped, cut in half then recycled for export to lesser pacific rim countries?
Any idea where or why he may have heard this? And if it IS true... 'why?' :right:

LOL I have my car for 5 years now.... it is true that the government discourages people from owning a car for too long by means of expensive yearly car inspections..but that`s about it.
And a lot of second hand cars end up in asian countries, but also Australie and the UK.

Ah, that makes more sense...
Sounds like a way to keep an economy moving... either you pay for a new vehicle.. or you pay heavy inspection fees... Interesting.
What he had told me heard, was that when the vehicle is put out of comission, they typically cut it in half and sell it as scrap. Then when it arrives in the other country.. they 'usually' mate the front half to a truck bed... It sounded strange, but yet not out of the realm of sounding untrue.

Andrey, I think we should all put propellers on our tow hiches, and float over in a convoy....

That's very strange to read this, as Anita was checking to see if I was still alive day before yesterday. We actually talked about trying to organize a national event..
More to come maybe!
Great to see the worldwide excitement about the VX.. Good to see ya strong and active there Serge!

This past Saturday, there was a national event for Indian Motorcycles... they had many Indian dealers around the country organize regional meets & rides.
In the Philadelphia area, there were at least 2 meets..
Maybe if we can coordinate simultaneous nationwide regional meets... and reach out to non-board members by mentioning it to newspapers and radio...

Naoki has a great album! The rest of his site is very nice too. I would give anything to have a true international event with all of the members from everywhere. By the looks of it, I'd love for the Japanese contingency be in charge of the food! All those BBQs look great.
Serge, I forgot to say before but, congratulations!!
