I have a 14 foot van box on my truck and will be loading my VX into it for the
first time today. For the past two years I have hauled a 2011 Mini Cooper but the ground clearance and a few other things caused me to look for something different. I have measured everything and the existing e track and wheel straps will fit. the tire chock may be a bit narrow, but I plan on replacing the tires when I get to my destination so I'm OK with that. I had planned to back the VX in like I did the Mini (to keep the engine weight over the axle but it doesn't look like that is possible without moving the wheel chock. It will be easier to exit the VX from the back, driving in so I have decided for right now to stick with that. My helper will be ready around noon today I hope. A photo link at the bottom hopefully will show some of the information in photo form for comments.

Thanks,

Rod

We loaded it just about an hour ago . Been raining all afternoon and waited until it ended for a bit. Drove right in tied the wheels down and shut the door. Was a bit surprised the door shut right away. Thought I would have to do a bit of adjusting. Too rainy for good photos but they will come soon.

Rod,

Sounds like I'm too late for input but for future reference you might find this helpful:
