If there were enough interest, I could build design/build a hidden winch mount for our VX's. The design would be a bit different, or should I say new and improved from VT_Mavericks design... Who would be seriously interested?

Is it easy to install ?

Mounting would be similar to the one VT_Maverick had on his VX

But I am not a big fan of cutting a large hole in the front cladding for a roller fairlead. I think a Hawse fairlead would be a better choice for the VX.

Any way to make it so it will accept either type of lead? Maybe have a removable bracket for either. I'd love to help but I'm sadly a bit far off to just come over to do some welding.

I think no matter what the vehicle it always looks better/cleaner with a hawse. Plus it works better with synthetic winch rope! Synthetic winch rope cuts down in a lot of extra weight plus it won't slice you in half when it breaks under load!

you will decide which one you want to use, the winch mount will be the same. If you want roller, you may have to cut out a larger hole. I am also looking at a few options that might not require much cutting, if any.

I'm in if it goes into production.

The less cladding cut is better!

I would seriously consider.

Just a note to give credit (or detriment depending on how you look at it) where it's due, member SPAZZ came up with the design and built it. He sold it to me, and after discovering significant cladding cutting was involved, I sold it to LiquidVX. He was going to try and mass product and improved version as well, but given he's located overseas and only comes back to the States once or twice a year I wouldn't bet on anything soon. Joe seems to be the best option.

I have purchased items from Joe before, he makes great products and for good prices. Quality stuff. Cannot wait to see what he comes up with.

I have a setup that I'd say was minimally invasive. I could probably get some measurements over the next few days if people have interest. You'll have to get it fabricated yourself, but you'd have a starting point.

I'm interested too depending on how much cladding cutting is involved.
