Do a search on Rally Fighter and you will see it has been discussed several times earlier. No ALL wheel drive...

The company (Local Motors) is just up the road from me. It has been on the market for 4-5 years...time to get out of the cave more often :D

When they designed it, they took input on various car parts. It has door handles from a Miata, mirrors from X and so on. It is a hodge podge of various vehicles. They did an episode on Top Gear US a few years ago, they beat that thing up, destroyed one early on by driving in the water. I agree, no 4wd option=no go for me.

There is one used on the road legally here in Corvallis.
Super beefy but rear wheel drive and it looks like a Toyota motor?
I took pictures of it.
It was pretty rad for street legal.

if you look, july 23 is when that story came out...i had never heard about them before.
