3-D VX Model

Don't know if this or anything like it has ever been posted, but I never knew anyone had gone to the trouble of mapping out a VX. The entire file is available in multiple formats for $75.

I know there was someone in the past talking about putting one together.

I'm liking the rear seats on the model. Tailpipe is on the wrong side though.

I've been looking for a 3d model in the past to play with. I've almost asked this guy (http://www.dangeruss.net/) to do one back when he did commissions. But starting price was in the range of ~$500...

Overall there's a lack of detail, especially to the undercarriage that makes the proportions look "off" - especially the lack of the ladder frame, suspension parts, front cladding bottom and gas tank/skid plate (gives the rear a squatty appearance). Not too bad otherwise...

Huh, I made a .max one years ago.... for free. :p

I gave the file to the DARPA guys for whatever uses they needed it for. I still have it somewhere burned to a disk. If I ever find it one day, I'll post it on here for download. I had hoped to mod it into some racing games, but decent games ever popped up with fair enough mod tools.

Who knows.... one day....
