View Full Version : abs light
I would like to shut off the abs light on dashboard. I think deermagnet once wrote something on this but I couldn't find it.
Anyone recall how to do it?

Here's the one I wrote up.
thanks for quick reply
that's a pretty involved one, i thought i recalled seeing one that had to do with bending a pin down either on fuse or something.

By far the easiest and fastest solution is to put a tiny piece of Black Electrical Tape over the ABS light. Git 'er dun.

That only seems to work for 99's for some reason. I tried & it didn't work for me. Removing the bulb only takes about 15 min & is a fail safe solution. 2 inspections so far & I haven't been failed for the light not coming on.

Can't find Mark's write up either. There are some pix in this thread though:

I think this is the thread you were looking for, but looks like Mark deleted the content (I'm guessing based on his "edit" date).
And the link to his write-up he attached in post #16 is also empty, but he does write some detail in that post.

But, found another thread where he talks about how to remove it.
