ebay universal roof rack experience?

I am looking for some Yakima Lowriders to show up on craigslist in my area, but am tempted to try something like this:

Though it says it fits our vx, i have my doubts. Anyone have experience with these type of outfits?

I plan on using it for a small basket or cargo box.

I don't think that this was the set that VXorado used, but he did use something similar to it (it might have been Yakima equipment), but it fit the VX just fine. Hopefully he will chime in (with pictures) when he sees this.

Yes, Yakima Lowriders are the way to go if you decide to go aftermarket. Hold out for them on craigslist over an ebay cheapie. I think I only paid around $50 for the lowriders.
