My Idea of a VX Cup holder/Console

So is this just an idea or did you actually build this and install it?

Yes I use it everyday. As far as install, No modifications to any of the existing console. All I did was cut the bottom out and notch the front out and took armrest off. This then just slides down and fits over every thing. Haven't needed to screw or bolt it down. Fits nicely the way it is. When you slide the lid back everything is accessible, defrost, mirror buttons etc. Seats slide fine and seat belts latch, unlatch easily.

Never have, but if I needed Too I can. It still pulls up. But like I said in my first post I understand it's not for everyone, I like its usefulness and just thought to share.

IMHO - yer thinkin outside the box ... & that's a good thing. May not be for everyone but you're the only one that needs to be pleased with the results. KUDOS.

If'n nobody thought outside the box, we wouldn't have Marlinstein, Frankenstein, ORW, OFH, or superflexy (just to name a few).

hm afordable and 4 cupholders. you daid you had to cut the front ti snap in right.

I just used my grinder with a cutting wheel and cut the bottom out and notched the front. Then the whole thing just slides right on and off like a sleeve, cover, boot etc....
