I just installed a set of 919 springs today. I had done a lot of reading on the different spring options before I decided on the 919's. From what I had seen different people say, I thought I would get about 1.75-2" of lift. Well they gave me exactly 3"s! I measured from the floor to the top of the wheel arch with stock springs, 40" & exactly 43" afterwards. I have a feeling once the truck is all back together & I drive it some that it will come down a little bit. But I just thought I'd post my findings.

How is the ride? Nice and soft? Mine has these blue one that are solid as a rock and just awful. I think they are fabtech or whichever company makes the lift kit for VX. They also sit too high. I can hear that u joint clanking on deceleration. I need a different set for sure. How much were yours and where did you get them?

The BLUE coil springs are likely Calmini...

.....who make a lift "kit" for the VX.
I had them..they sag eventually..not a fan..but their shocks are good.
IMO 919's wont give a "soft" ride as they are the HD ( for carrying extra load) springs...so stiffer...I have them now.
Coil springs can be purchased from Independent 4x4, or even Amazon.
Brand name is OLD MAN EMU... approx $150 ish a pair.
This will help..from using the search function
Member "Rickshaw"....... his comprehensive thread/post "913 Experiment"..

Yes, I think I'm going about another 2"s so I don't have to do a ton of cutting on the front.

will having that body lift reduce your mileage? Id like more clearance but not if it sacrifices the gas.

919s will give a Trooper 2" lift, not surprised it is 3" on a VX.
