Just for S***s and Giggles

I have no mad drafting/drawing skills just an idea.

What do you guys think about a hard sided pop up conversion shell for the VX with a small bed shelf, seating area, and kitchenette? I have been driving around North America and plan on some more in the VX and the roof tent just isn't cutting it, the wife doesn't like the soft sides.

Something like this XP Camper but on a smaller scale

I can build it, the family owns a traveling carnival and building weird custom stuff especially a home on wheels isn't out of the ordinary.

I'm not scared to chop the back off the VX either, that's the part I don't like

Possibly a chopped cab and fit an aluminum bed with rails to keep the roof tent lower, that drag is killing me .

Still think an expo trailer would be easier/cheaper and more economic. Keep the VX in one piece, better mileage, easy to store/park trailer and so on:)

The VX is just not a good platform to do this on, you want the Isuzu Rodeo or at least a LWB Trooper
