Has anyone replaced TOD Front and rear speed sensor?

Access to the connector on top of the TOD to remove the pins and replace the sensors appears to be almost impossible without dropping the TOD, which I would prefer not to do.

Has anyone tried cutting the wires on the sensors and soldering in new sensors, rather than replacing the pins in the plug?

Anyone got any other tips on what might be causing a TOD error code 13. The book says that its the reference voltage to the sensors. I have measured the voltage at the TOD ECU and its 5.5v which the books states it should be between 5V to 9V, so it looks good. Can only think that replacing the sensors may fix the problem.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Been working through this lately, I replaced a couple of rear sensors, and 5v is what is shows flat when it is running right it seems. Now with the sensor replaced, the module seems to have fouled through that process, and that will be replaced. However, the actual answer from me and moral of my story here are that the sensor connection worked fine when some corroded connectors were removed, and then just connected straight in to avoid any potential future fouling. Hopefully the sensors last long enough to have that not be annoying to undo.
