OH $#@*^*(*&$!!!! I just got a little sick to my stomach. ;puke2;
I was outside cleaning Vicki's interior in preparation for next weekends big exterior clean for Moab, and when I went to back her out into the sun to warm the seats up before applying the leather conditioner I got......NOTHING!!
She started up just find, and I let her idle for a couple of minutes, but when I put her in reverse the engine idled up a bit, but there was no power to the wheels. Nothing. Nada. Zip!! She didn't want to move at all (yes the parking brake was off). Went to put her back into park and there was a gear grinding sound like when you miss a shift in a standard transmission. The miss shift sound slowed down and she eventually went back into park. After almost throwing up on the dashboard, I put her back in reverse and still no power. Shifted to neutral and the engine idled down again (as usual). Moved the shifter to drive, and again the engine idled up, but still got no power. Same thing for gears 3, 2 and 1. Ran it all the way back to park and got the missed shift sound, which again slowed until she went back into park.
I drove her home yesterday without a problem at all. No missed shifts, no hiccups, nothing. Parked her last night, then started cleaning her this morning.
WHAT GIVES!!
I"m absolutely sick to my stomach right now and with it being Saturday I really can't call anyone to take a look at her. This could TOTALLY ruin Moab for me.
ANY suggestions, guesses, things to try, well wishes or big hugs would be greatly appreciated right now.
