These are pix of N1's (Albert) prototype CF hood insert with no scoop in high gloss finish.
Looks great and fits great the first time.

Question is.....what's the durability or life expectancy of this thing?? Say through snow, sleet, sun and rain.....what will it look like then? Or after a few years? Not that the stock insert would be any better I guess :confused:

I love the gloss look as long as it does not delaminate over time. You know how fiberglass can. I'd like to see a WRX type scoop (yes, mainly for looks).

Looking good. Make sure the carbon was laid with UV safe gel-coat. Otherwise UV from the sun will break down the carbon overtime. Bad. Very bad.
