just curious, is everyone here okay with what rear springs are
available for our Vehicross's for lifting them ?

If not, I have a source who can make us almost whatever we
want.. a big company Ive been dealing with for yrs...
they have done some projects for me in the past.

If we were limited to the Calmini springs then I'd say go fer it. Since OME makes some that work for us though, I doubt that you'd be able to throw enough business their way to make it cost effective.

My $.02 & I want change.:)

I think that there could be a better version created. I would like a progressive spring like the stock one that gets stiffer as it is compressed so you have better flexing and don’t have to have the OME stiff versions. As I see it they do not have a progression. I have worked with a custom spring company that took my 62 Buick and make front and rear springs that provided 40% more stiffness and increased the ride height by 1.5 inches. I asked for the numbers to be provided to give my vehicle a sporty feel and a little more ride height. I'm not sure if the company you are talking about can do a progressive spring but if they could I would get 2 pair. From what I have seen the OME are not something I would want to purchase because they appear to stiffen the suspension too much.
I have had this discussion with other VX'rs and I also think that troopers would also benefit from a Flexi spring that provides an increase in ride height.
I was looking to get a stock set of springs and send them to the manufacturer that built my Buicks springs, and I may still go that way depending on what the company you are talking about comes up with.
So many people have an idea of what is right for them that it may not be possible to have agreement on what would be best.
I want 2" of lift with progressive springs that are flexi and will not allow bottoming out. Right now I don’t see that there is a spring on the market that can deliver that. I do have one other source of information to look into before I am firm on that stance though.

this is great, pretty much what Im trying to acomplish.
Im hoping to be able to help other owners get
what they want or need, but of course its also about
more sales for our company...I have great resources.
Im working on some springs too for the Subaru Brat
crowd .
