Looks familiar...but not quite a VX! This one still looks a little prissy to me. And it's a Chevy....being in the transmission business, I strongly believe Chevy makes CRAP.

I agree that it is likely a heap of junk. I just like the idea of more economical, small, fuel efficient 4x4 "cars". I still want an AMC Eagle SX/4.

1.8 Liter 135 HP you aint doing much 4 wheeling

Its cute...

(and I want the snorkel for my VX!)

...but the original Lada Niva is WAY better IMO.

I don't agree with that. My 1991 Trooper came with the 2.6 which only makes 120 HP. It wheels just fine! Plus, this vehicle looks to be considerably small, so would think the 135 HP would not be an issue for it.

Yeah, I've always liked the Lada Niva. I actually saw one first hand in Spain last April, parked like this:

Those are my wheels! I hope they don't put them in production on the new Chevy's......

Thatguy, I like those rims, you should post the specs here (http://www.vehicross.info/forums/showthread.php?t=14685).

The Niva looks too much like a small crossover (Chevy Traverse) to me but does look neat with some offroad bolt-on's

I just want to know when Nissan is going to stop messing around and make the Patrol available stateside.

Thanks VXorado, I like them too, haha! I'll try to post a pic when I find out the wheel specs.

I realized a long time ago I'm the only perfect one.

I kind of like it.

Pretty much just a Buick Encore with a trail package.

Today I learned that I'm a sucker for big knobby tires and a whole lotta black paint.

I like parts of it but overall I don't like it very much.

Ida know. My old Samurai had 91 cubic inches of raw power ... & she did quite nicely for getting around. 0 to 60 in 2.3 minutes though:)

Mebbe if I'd put a 'lectric fan on it, the extra 2% of throttle response would have made it mo betta:)

^^^Yes, that! "Lectric fan will solve everything.

Whats the size of it. European cars are smaller. Looks like cross between VX and smart car....
