Valve adjustment

Anybody on here ever do their own valve adjustment? I was looking at the shop manual and it looks like it's the shim type of adjustments.

I have not but you are correct.

There is an Isuzu training video on youtube that takes you through it IIRC.

Thanks Mile High. The problem is that you either need a whole shim selector kit or I assume you could order the ones you need but that means taking things apart, measuring, putting back together (I still need to drive her), ordering shims and waiting and then going through the whole process again. I really need to find a local shop that knows what they're doing and have them do it.
