New Shocks

I just bought a used 1999 Vx and was wondering where I could get new shocks? Do I have to take it to the dealer or can I take it somewhere (cheaper) else. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Do a search (by hitting search button near top of webpage) and enter shocks...you get a wealth of info on the subject. KYB's are what are stock (Original) shocks and are pricey to replace unless under warranty. I had my fronts replaced under warranty for free and the dealership said they cost $250.00 each plus labor. There are cheaper substitutes as shown doing a search. Good luck!
