View Full Version : DLC No Voltage

Anyone have this issue? My connector was damaged as well as the metal bracket, so I fabbed a bracket and bought a matching plug. I wrote down the wiring positions before I transferred the wiring and also ensured the wiring was good before I seated the wires in the new plug. Well I took it in to test(here in Arizona the damn DMV or MVD or whayteverthehellyoucallthem are ridiculous)and it failed citing no voltage to the DLC. Checked the "CIG" fuse and its good to go. Now I am not an electrical expert, but I am an aircraft maintainer, so i know enough about electrical "stuff" to get myself in trouble..Which I may have. I'm better with the mechanical aspect. SO, can anyone provide me some assistance or at least maybe a wiring diagram so I can double check I didn't do an oops..
Thanks and be gentle..

This may at least get you started anyway. Still looking for actual wiring info.

How does your EB-2 (Engine Bay fuse box) fuse check out? 10A Horn fuse.

Is that all it was (EB-2 blown), or is there still no power at your DLC after replacing it?

Worked like a charm. Changed out the fuse, started the Devil and then checked it again. Still good. Took it to Autozone to have the DLC checked, and we have power!
Thanks for your help sir.

Cool. And you're welcome. Love it when it turns out to be an easy fix.
