Help Guys!

I am stumped and search is not really finding this symptom

Problem:
Place Car in D - No pull. There is power, minimal. rev the engine and it get to higher gears.
When in D - Car will move with out throttle but veeery little.

Tried:
- Place the car in L. Works Fine. Like nothing is wrong
- Cycled through the Tcase and all is fine.
- No Dancing lights on Dash at start-up
- R is fine
- Will only get to first or low gear in L ( not in 2 ,3 or D)

Known issues
- I had chattering Idle; Now its gone. Mechanic told me it was the spring tensioner
- Changed ATF and filter plus seal a month ago. (could a leak do this?)
- Missing the "Clunk" when putting in D.
- The first time it occurred; power came back while stopped in D after a "clunk" was heard.
- Resealed axle boot

Thanks guys... This is really eating me..

I know this is a long shot but sounds like your tranny is stuck in "winter mode". If your winter mode button is pushed you will never get first gear in "D" position. This would be the path of investigating I would go down. Make sure Winter Mode is not somehow selected. Go ahead and push it on and off and make sure the light is working on the dash, to the left of the "power mode" light.

Will try this in the Morning.... BTW, Littlebeast: Used your thread on HID and Lights for inspiration. Thanks too.

No cigar..... Fiddled with the winter mode. I actually got more power on the winter mode being on from a dead stop....
