So I was doing some research on a potential diff drop. I went out to look at my truck and it looks like it's already done! Since I never saw my VX stock, I'm not 100% certain. Can someone look at these pics and tell me if this is a fabbed dif drop? Also, take a look at the cross member, is that custom fabrication as well?

It’s defiantly been dropped, looks like about 2 inches. Has the suspension been lifted?

Yes, it has a 3 inch Calmini lift and 1 inch body spacers. that's why I was looking into the dif drop. which led me to this discovery! lol

Yup..looks dropped.

Notice how the cross member has been notched.. to allow drop.
Thats a sure sign even if the other pics are TOO huge to view!!

It looks like the PO got the diff drop from Darlington so it's a 2" drop.

wierd that they got the Darlington diff drop though but didn't get his crossmember drop brackets. Would've saved them some significant work on the install.

Yeah, I'm just glad I didn't have to do it. :bgwb:

The crossmember modification was much easier on the Calmini bar than it would have been for the OEM. The crossmember drop brackets are just bolt on though so ... easy/peasy.
