I got it for a good deal and I plan to bring it back to life. Then I'll probably keep it and sell my Subaru. I'll definitely be looking for some replacement parts soon. I haven't taken ownership yet as she is still looking for the title.

How does the interior look so nice with that front damage? Good find, great project!

Not bad looking Scott, you scored a deal.

Doesn't look like much more than a radiator, A/C condenser, A/C cooler, headlight, hood, bumper, & fender. You might be able to body work the fender and hood.

Thanks Guys!
It comes with a new replacement radiator and the damaged parts too. I may be able to put a custom offroad bumper on my current rig and use some of the take off parts to repair the Quark. It has 150k on it but yes the interior looks clean. Because I assured her I would rebuild it she gave me her bottom dollar price. She had it listed for $3k but I got it for half that and it has a CLEAN title. Woohoo! A bit of a risk because I haven't even seen it in person but after our conversation I'm not worried a bit. Excited yes, worried no. And I still have the parts Trooper for some little bits i.e. A/C condenser etc.

WooHoo. So glad to see a Proton being brought back to life (I'm biased that way:)). After you get her back on the road, you'll have to find a rim/tire combo with the 'proper' offset!!!

How are you transporting her home? This works if you remove the driveshaft:

But it can be a bit of 'tail wagging the dog' so be careful.

Yeah, I'm thinking about going the U-Haul route it's 60mi away but I'll probably do the truck and flat bed method.

Once I get it home:
What are the biggest tires I can fit on it without interference and how should I treat the cladding? :laughgray JK

I did that haul for about 200 miles. I kept it at 50-55mph. Of course, I was in pretty flat country so no big hills to climb. Being passed by big rigs (doing 70) was .... entertaining!!!

Well I posted on FB already but I can add a couple of pictures here too. I am going to need to replace the entire front radiator wall. I am going to see if Otwobme has what I need. I think the only other parts I should need that I don't already have are:
Hood
Grill
Fan Assembly
Bumper bar
Passenger headlight
Drivers inner door window seal squeegee thing

I think if I decide to put an offroad bumper on my blue VX I could reuse the damaged front cladding on it and take the undamaged cladding and bumper bar off to put on the proton. Two dead birds.
This one was definitely owned by smokers and even has cig burns on the front seats. Seats are in bad condition. Mileage is 156k. Window of course need help. Odd thing is both doors are slightly loose at the hinges but there is no easy way to tighten the hinges without removing the fenders. That will have to be done anyway when I replace the front. Some rust on the under carriage but not too bad and frame looks good.
I already have the AC condenser/cooler assembly and it came with a brand new radiator. Has good tires but of course those peeling chrome rims. The roof rack is a Saris which I don't have the keys for, I'll have to try picking the locks. ABS light comes on and turns off after initial check so that's encouraging. Stock radio and speakers will be dealt with. Couple of dings here and there but all in all not too bad.

Nice, doesn't look too bad from the front angle either. That's a goofy looking roof rack though.
