So i took out the back seat in Hauns (VX) just named it...
i have been thinking about making a box to go in the area where you put your feet when siting in the back. here is what i have so far. i should be done by the end of this week and i up load more pic's if there is interest in these i could make more and figure out a price to sell them for.

Love it
I'd be interested...depending on $$$'s
Great stash box for oil, washer fluid, cassettes ( yes!..I still run them!) etc etc.
Are the lid hinges at back, or on the seat side?
I could grab one from you in Moab

Nice work.
What's the hole in the bottom on the left side for? Is there a hump on the floor that you're trying to clear?
Is the lid going to be hinged or lift off?

im going to make two doors for it, you wont see the hings, im also putting motion sensor lights in mine so when you open it the lights will automatically come on., of course that would be an option. the hinge will be at the cross member and to open it im going to use a magnetic popper.

yea there is a hump in the floor. im going to put MDF over that so you wont see anything when its completed.

Two doors is a good plan
I wouldn't need lights or magnetic popper..and I'd want hinges on 'back door side' ( or I can put them on!)..
...so easily opened / accessible from dr & pass seat.
Hope its viable $$'s wise !
Cheers

My seats are already yanked... I was planning on making something similar myself. Where are you located?

box is completed. this is what i did with it, if you want one it will be sold as just the bear box, that way you can pick the carpet and if you want lights, hinges or just finger holes to pull up the door. i have locks, hinges, door poppers and lights on mine. box will run $250 plus shipping

i plan on using the other side for tools... i like to be prepared.:)

I don't think you'll be quite prepared with the Judge and ONLY 6 clips for your Glock. Probably should utilize the other side with an assortment of knives.
Looks great by the way, a locked gun storage was an awesome idea.

there is two clips for the glock and three for my .40 cal that way i can interchange them. if i cant hit what im aiming at with that many rounds then i should not own a weapon at all. in that case maybe i should put a shotgun slot in it...:bwgy:

Jo im not going to moab. i have to pick up a chopper i built. im going to try to pick it up before hand. i will get a box together it will just be a raw box pre drilled and with all the screws to put together. it will not be wrapped that way you can pick out your own color. i can see if Scott will take it for you. i take square as payment

Heya Jake...
I was kind of kidding.. and ya sound super busy!
I'd do one myself..but given you have templates...and it fits so well !
....and I certainly dont have time with the 'other' Moab project I'm doing!!
But hey.. if ya do/can get one cut out.....I'm certainly interested for sure.
Raw "jigsaw" puzzle is great... that'll work just fine
PM me with cost etc and I'll let ya know.
Cheers

This box can easily be made into a sub box, I look into this as well. It can hold three eights or maybe even two tens.

I did it this way so it still had a factory feel to it. Not a lot of room but every bit count in these... It's enough space to put almost all he tools you need to really work on the vx and have them hidden and in foam. I consider that a win. Tools are always with me and out of sight
