Just back from an amazing trip to the Namib dessert. When last did you clock 80mph where there is no sign of a track.... :bgwo:
Weca, an offroad fitment centre opening in Walvis Bay, a little coastal town in Namibia, were doing a "proof of concept" for a competition that they are planning, and I was invited to come play with. Battle of the Dunes!
The VX made me proud. It's almost as if she was custom built for exactly this.
It is just scary how high these dunes are. Many of it measuring >400 feet from base to peak, vertical measurement, actual distance 1200'-1500'
No 2nd guesses who kicked butt (and took names :p ) in the quarter mile sprint, over loose dessert sand :)
