Can you help with that?
I just recently got VX, trying to restore it and have a question:
When driving it makes squeaking noises over little bumps etc.
I took a picture and not sure, am I missing bushings there?
Noise is pretty constant if road is rough
Any suggestions?
thanks for help

Perfectly normal, no bushings.
Historically, strange squeaking noises have been attributed to the hood latch. Adjust your latch and/or rubber hood bumpers to beat the squeak!

Thanks!
I've noticed that too, raised bumps a little(maybe 1/4-1/2") but did not driven yet.
Can I ask you: if you have a scan gauge or similar, what is average coolant temperature shown?
Given that stat is 170deg, I think between 180-190?

I believe Those loops are part of the seat belt restraint system. The shop manual shows bushings in there but I've never seen a VX with them installed.

"Seat Belt Tension Rod" - now that's funny! :)
It looks like they are just there as an extra level of protection from yanking the torsion bar bracket out of the bottom of the VX if you get really crazy in the rocks. In "normal" use those loops do absolutely nothing.
