I'm trying to spin the engine on my spare VX to get compressions and found quite to my dismay what a PITA it is to get to the VX starter. A bit of a shock after nearly 15 years of VX wrenching! Guess I've been lucky on starters. So, since I can't easily get directly to the starter to jumper has anyone done this at the starter relay location? What I'm after is which terminals to connect the bypass switch to. Just tapping the talent here before digging through the wiring diagrams. And no I can't just use the ignition switch as this is the VX I've been every once in a while modding for stage rally, so the harness is partially removed as well as the ECU. :bgwo:

Thanks!

When you unplug the relay (most standard relays are 4 pin) there will be 3 pins that run parallel with each other & 1 that is opposite to them. You want to jump the opposite 1 & the terminal straight across from it. Hope that makes sense.
