help! no.heat

Hi guys...so it's starting to be cool in the mornings.up.here..and the other mor.my wife told.me her heater.wasn't working..again! It happened in the past.and.all it was the links on the heater assembly came undone behind and next to glove box..not allowing her to.switch the temp control from.cold to.hot...now..the pieces actually broke!! Is there a thread.anywhere about going about fixing.this..I know im.gnna.have to take the.whole dash assembly out..could one of.u take a pic for.me so.I can see orientation of these links..very much appreciate

I guess I will start tearing the dash apart..ugh..anywhere you guys can lead me.to a detailed step by step guide to tear out the dash?
