VehiCross Aluminum Name Plates

One of the manufacturers I've used in the past makes these Aluminum Name Plates. After pulling tons of teeth I got them to agree to make me a couple of CUSTOM sets with our VehiCross logo. The idea is to mount these to your carpet, on a side wall... or you can get fancy and mount them recessed in a wall panel. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do with mine, but they are really cool and I love them. I want to get more, but it seems like the same story... it's been a couple years since I had lots of custom stuff made and now they don't want to make more unless I have a minimum order. They want a min of 10 sets before they'd make another batch.

They are about $15 per set (2 plates per set) plus a few $ for s/h...

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... The VehiCross logo on these plates is RECESSED into the aluminum. It isn't "flat", there is texture to these and then the ink is filled in. They must have used a computer/laser to make them with the precision that I see. They are really cool...

UPDATE:

They cannot provide the plates without holes. All name plates will be with pre-drilled holes. I will be placing our order within 1 week. Before I place the order I will make sure everyone on this thread has a chance to order or to change their order. After that it will take 1-2 weeks for production followed by approx 2-3 weeks for shipping from China.

I will post how to send your money soon. It will likely go to my PayPal account.

OK, I had to work out a few details but everything is a go.

For each set of plates (2 plates per set), please send $15 to my Paypal using the friends option plus $5 for shipping (total of $20... plus $15 each additional set). I will cover the cost of the padded envelopes. Once they come in I will package everyone's set and send it out via USPS Standard Shipping with insurance to cover the cost of $15 per set. If you wish to have faster shipping please let me know now by the notes section in Paypal or by email (tysamigo@gmail.com). Once shipped, if your shipping is more than $5, I will send you a PM asking for the difference. Everyone gets the same discounted price.

On Paypal in the notes section, please include your name and shipping address.

I will be ordering a couple extra sets in case someone wants a set or 2 after the deadline. I'm hoping to have everyone's money within 1 week from today. Once I send him full payment he will start manufacturing. Everyone should have their set with 4-6 weeks from the time I sent him full payment. I'll keep everyone posted if there are any delays or changes.

Tyler - if you ship via the USPS and use their priority shipping I believe the padded envelopes are free. That may be a cheaper option since it's a one price to ship.

I'm still waiting for a few others. The sooner I get everyone's money in... the sooner I can have the plates manufactured. :)

FYI...

Each time I receive payment from someone, I scroll down and edit the "who's paid list" immediately. I check the paypal twice daily and will continue to do so until this weekend where I hope everyone has paid so that we can get our plates made.

UPDATE:

I have placed our order and have paid for it in full as of today. Production time is approximately 1 week. Shipping from Hong Kong is approximately 2-3 weeks.

When I first ordered these, it took about a month-ish for them to arrive. I would expect the same.

Just wanted to give you guys an update:

I received confirmation that our plates have shipped, leaving China Wednesday Sept 30.

They came in on Wednesday but a busy week has held me off from sending everything out. This weekend I will prepare everything for shipment via USPS Priority on Monday.
