My Power Steering pump is making all kinds of racket and the power assist during turns, especially in parking lots, its painful. Has anyone replaced their pump assembly and if so, any recommended brands? I intend to replace the seals and hoses (both flex and rigid) at the same time. Help?

Johnny,
Just a thought: Troopers are very similar in those years, some junkyards have a database to tell if its interchangeable.

There are several options I've found - anything from a very inexpensive new after-market, to a reman, to a new pump. I'm replacing the hoses and all seals - hoping that all my power steering problems go away. Has anyone else done the job and if so, what did you do? Also, wasn't there a thread about some other bit that was seizing the pulley?
