Here are some mirror covers on eBay that will fit the VX:

The Rodeo mirror has the same exterior case as the VX. I have confirmed this via the mirrors that I bought for my VX. The exteriors are identical, but the internal mounting points are different because they were manufactured by 2 different companies. Great price, and these will fit the VX!

yep, raque!!you are absolutely correct that chrome cover will accomodate the vx w/ some minor variations..the chrome cover protrudes slightly at top looking sort-of-like a spoiler(nice)..see 'my vx pics' to visualise how it actually looks on our vx.the brand i believe is from taiwan or korea.

what is that metal looking stripe with holes in it on each cover ?

that thing is a stamped/forged design..adds a little flare to the look.

so how to put it on the vx since the internal is a little bit different? we need to make another hole or sth?

can't wait to get it, just bought one, i found on other website, they are selling the same thing, same price, use a 3M Redback adhesive to put it on.

fishhookmaui, do we need to take the original cover off?

thx

nope..remove the 3m adhesive and apply.that's all the work that needs to be done.
