A friend of mine did my axles at his shop a few weeks ago..
about a week after I got the VX back, I noticed that the front
skid plate didnt look right and it seems to be missing a couple bolts
and or possibly not even installed correctly. I cant find any close up
shots of what it looked like before I took it in, but this is how it looks
now.
Can someone post pics of theirs so I can compare the 2 and see
why mine looks so wrong ?
thanks

Its hardly functional for serious protection anyways. I hit a downed deer some years back and it did its job for protection, but it had to be replaced. Yes, an already downed deer. A meat bag. And it had to be replaced. But, better than nothing (though nothing actually cooled my engine bay by 15f on highway while it was off, heh).

I shot a few on my lunch hour for you...that groove in the plate should be pulled up around your front sway bar...somethings not right there...
